I also played with boxes but of the wholesale variety. Kellog's corn flakes and Northern tissue were the best. You could cut holes in them and stack one each on several wagons and make a train pulled by a trike. My grandfather owned a general store and we had the run of the storeroom to clear out the cartons once a year. This is fascinating how the crease command overides the single skin when it is all built in a single vertex model by replicate. Or so it seems. I hear a sucking sound. Will it suddenly whoosh into a metaball?
