I started Brycing in November of 2003 after being introduced to it through the owner of www.mulawa.net, Peter Hewitt. He created a set of tutorials and sent a group of us a book called Advanced Bryce Creations. His generoisity has led to many hours of joy for me as I create the images you will see in my gallery.
I was able to start Brycing because I no longer worked as a CAD drafter at the local foundry which lost most of its business to overseas businesses. My husband supports me for the time being but says when he retires, I get to go back to work so we have health insurance. We will see :D
Stats: Female, married, no children, brown hair, hazel eyes, glasses, drink Bacardi Limon and diet Pepsi(have since given this up...I still miss it, lol), love to golf, camp, play PC games and Bryce. I used to love to tend my garden so that's where my nick came from...Burpee Seeds.
Boring? Maybe but I'm happy :)

Your pieces always have a wonderful "Realism" to them, even the fantasy stuff, a true believability! This is right out of the classics! And so wonderfully lit!!! brilliant! Happy holidays to you and yours!!!

I am so impressed by your attention to detail. Right down to the cat and mouse! A mixture of emotions in the face of one so alone.

Charles Dickens come to life. Bravo.

Well, I must say is definitely a dramatic image and conveys a deep sense of hidden bitterness and regret. As mentioned above, the level of detail you obtain is simply remarkable and I was looking at this image for quite some time taking it all in! Christmas can be a sad time of the year for many, especially for those who have lost loved ones in their thoughts during this season. In a lot of ways to me, this captures that feeling very well. Excellent work!!

Wonderful capture of Scrooge. And, you're right.. but for one thing, it's more than some people.. there are many people that feel or are like that both at holiday and year round. Life's too short, enjoy it while you're here. Excellent image and V

Fantastic Scrooge! Beautifully done and just outstanding!

I should have known, Scrooge is a "cat person!" :-) I love the fine way you've composed the holiday themed image ... nice atmospheric image and so well composed and lighted. V

Of course Gene! Cats don't need as much attention as dogs and Scrooge has no time for anyone or anything. He can't even be bothered to feed the poor thing. You can't see from the angle but I made the cat very thin :)
jocko500
poor cat. but he happy in his own world. But those ghosts showed up and messed up his Christmas. very super image

you've really captured it so well. Something to avoid, it could be any of us, at least he's got a warm fire and cat - sad that some don't have that, ahem, those that he's mistreated. the look on his face is telling!
aliensprog
Great image. Great mood. Are we going to see a pic where Scrooge is visited and has a change of heart? Nicely done.

Fantastic atmosphere and lighting. I don't think it could work as a Christmas greeting card. 8-) But he's not alone, he has his cat with him and I'm sure it gives him hours of joy. 8-) Great character, pose and expression. Excellent mood. Did you win? Vote.
