Description

...an attempt to catch the look of a quite common Danish type of landscape, a moist lowland leading up to a stream or a lake. Also trying to depict the mood of our typical winter, the one where there is no snow until mid-January. Well, let's just say that this is mid-December :) Vue5I, Onyxtree, Bantam3D "Grass 7" & Photoshop CS. All models and textures are my work. Rendered in "Broadcast" with Global Ambience, 7 hrs. render (the trees are quite complex and heavy to render). 4 ecosystems. Comments etc. more than welcome and much appreciated. The trees & volumetric lighting sure are excellent but, that water is something beyond. Most excellent! Love the way you simulated patches where the water has frozen..awesome. I also dig the reflections. Top work as usual."v"

Really excellent scene: grass, water freezing, atmo are excellent. The only little criticism could be the steady size of the trees. Anyway you are one of, but the best realistic nature renderer.
