Description
Bryce 5.5 design, customized texture/mats/colored radial lighting: www.sazzart.com
Sometimes, durring my morning outside meditation, yes even in winter, with the right atmospheric conditions; I get to see what we call "Sun Dogs" caused by the dawning sunlight refracting through airbourn ice crystals. I had been working on a variation design, "Stone Mystique3", and decided to try incorporating the "Sun Dog" effect.
Experienced Brycers will recognize what I did here; and let me just say this was very render intensive: with 2:43:57 Bryce render time. Rendered to HDD overnight, time was well over 7 hours.
For Anita. Thanks for viewing, have a nice week.

I know about render time. I stopped one late nite because it would take over two hours in the small [I guess 540x540] lol just thinking of the big reander on hard drive p.s. I kick some things out that did not work anyway] but I like this image of yours all light up and shiny

Beautiful composition, magical and relaxing. Great colours and effects...certainly render intensive!. Nice detail adding those dull reds as a cool finishing touch!

This is lovely! The colors say "ahhh". I have seen the Aurora Borealis just once, in my hometown of Aurora Illinois. Amazed that I could see it that far south. It looked like splashes of fairy dust painted across the sky....like firework ashes that would not extinguish...beautiful to see.

Stephen...I am touched...THANK you! In these busy days we sometimes do not get to the things soon enough, that we need to. Such is the case with your piece here...The colors you used here are some of my VERY favorite?! This is a gorgeous design and I love how the light...bounces around and lights up everything - much like the Northern Lights which I have seen many times here. Yes, we have sun dogs as well...just love your "Northern theme"...How did you know how much I love the far North?? Your Opal/Aquamarine-like stones in the foreground, are realistic enough to captivate this former jeweler...Just beautiful!! Outstanding work, Saz!!! Merci!
