Description

A solitary light in the gloom... sometimes a signal of salvation or a warning of impending doom... (almost poetic)... which ever it is, the lighthouse will always be there... shining it's message to everyone who sees it. A lighthouse image for a talented artist and nice person (litehouse901)... she takes the time to comment on my images and loves lighthouses probably... ever... so slightly more than me... Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment... Very beautiful yet moody atmospheric image and I suppose there can be some metaphors had with the subject! Here in the States we are trying to conserve energy, so instead of lighthouses we put out nets of rubber duckies out for the boats to hit. It's not as effective but sure looks pretty at sunset! LOL! There's that magnificent rain again...the last time I saw it rain like this I was watching A Perfect Storm on DVD! I guess there are some advantages of living in the desert...roasted lizard tastes pretty good! All in all, a wonderful image and a great dedication!

SUPER image !! Fabulous ambience. Love the rain effect. You say you did it in Corel Paint ? You dont mean Corel Painter by any chance. I dont have corel paint so I am hoping you say it is Painter. LOL !! Wonderful work and very sweet dedication. So sweet. I love lighthouses too. Of course, I grew up in New England, USA, so lighthouses were everywhere and so much a part of home to me. EXCELLENT !!!!! V
