Description

This idea comes from a photo from a National Geographic archive and is my real first attempt at photo-realistic stuff. Atmosphere and clouds are made using Dmytry's in-developement volumetrics plugin. Terrain (and materials) are traditional mojoworld built in a p-bomb. I already discussed with rbutt and ACHPostma about the materials not being quite right yet, so perhaps when I get more time I will re-render this with some tweaks. Postwork consists of a little sharpening, some level changes and sunflare which again I used some photos as reference points for the flare. Thanks for viewing

I just spotted this over at Terranuts so I thought I'd come over here and echo how amazingly good I think this render is. The volumetric cloud plugin looks like raising Mojo a level or two in the CG league table :-)
