Description
Caught another beautiful sunset last night. I pieced together four pics to make this pano. I had difficulty putting them together because the levels were so different, so don't look to close. I hope they don't stand out too much. Just enjoy the color that nature painted in the sky for me to photograph.

lovely picture - the title you chose reminds me of a rather bad movie called 'the Santa Fe Trail' starring Errol Flynn and some other actor whose name I can't remember (but I think he ended up doing something in politics)

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!! I do love this sky Ray!!! Awesome colors and making a pano sure brought it justice. Excellent stitchjob as well...i cant spot a single seam. If you lock focus it usually becomes easier shooting a pano. Have a great weekend. #:O)

They are great colors and the black silhouette of the earth below is very effective. I like the few lights that are on the left side. I didn't see any seams in the pano so i say you did your usual great job there also.

Well done Ray, beautiful sky. The trick on panoramas is to set focus and lock it, and also to decide on one exposure for all the shots. This works very well tho.

They combine together very well, don't worry about these levels, it's just not more than logic: the contrast difference is so high a camera cannot record that all so well! I would have considered cropping a part of the black landscape (seen with the eye but the cam records just black or noise). Excellent work, the colors are stunning, Ray! :)
