I certainly see something here. There are five layers when counting from the bottom. The closest to us is the shore line, followed by the river. Then there is another shore and an open field, followed by a horizon and a sky with clouds. If we look at the horizon line, towards the left, we can imagine a group of trees, as the shapes themselves are uneven, suggesting various highest of trees. Now moving to the right, along the horizon line, we can imagine a small village. The first structure on the left being a church tower, Protestant type, since I see it more square and castle like, whereas the European Catholic version is pointed. The there grouping of trees inter mixed with the village. As we come forward to the river, the darker spots, two sort of in the center, flanked by one on the left and another closer to the village, these are its citizens. Still with me Ian? So do I like it. Of course I do! Take care my friend and thank you for sharing and happy holidays. Egmont

Lovely tactile & spatial impressions created here, very nice abstract work.

Amazing! With a good eye one can see and capture art in the mundane. This series shows how there is abstract impressionism in the ordinary things around us. Excellent work Ian. V
