Beautiful work - high impact image message! I also love your nature-related images. The flower images are to "die for". I,too, strive to see nature in fractals or to see the fractal present in nature... Anna

well, I did not read the reason first behind the image so my first thought was this is just gorgeous.... and would make an awesome print. I am sorry the cause of the render is such a tragic event.

Despite the tragic subject, this is a fantastic flame; form, gradient and light background make this one a perfect beauty.

As another english person living near the oil depot this occured at.. i must say i'm glad the horrible black poisonous cloud didnt come north to Aylesbury (abour 15 miles away)...... no one was killed although 3 people were hospitalised, because it occured early on a Sunday morning..... the biggest industrial accident in Europe. I thought of the event before i saw your title Helen

I don't care. I love your fire-starter flame. It is gorgeous. Or am I a pyromaniac? Great creation. Aloha

A wonderful portrayal of a tragic circumstance. I can see the smudge and oily characteristics as well as the flames. I get the feeling of industry as well. As I said. Excellent portrayal.

Serious portrayal of an unfortunate event... I was thinking more along the lines of the "Prodigy`s" insane track of the same name, when i saw the thumb...underground dance music at its best :)

Even if it's representing a disaster, you turned it to an amazing contrasted piece of art! That's even beautiful.

OK . . . . this is gorgeous! The thumbnail doesn't do justice to so many images, and this is a prime example. WONDERFUL image!

It was dramatic and you vizualized it well in this wonderful flame. Our modern society is vulnerable and it's good to think of it every day!
