Description

The guards "escorted" Kat to the holding room where she was stripped of all remnants of her uniform and rank. She knew the wait would be a long one to make her afraid but it would not work she knew the routine only too well after all she was the one who devised it Kat allowed herself time to reflect on how she came to be here. Her father saw to it that she had no choice except to leave but she didn't regret leaving - Noah was worth it. "Oh Noah why did you leave me?" she screamed inwardly "I could face anything with you by my side - alone I have my doubts" His remembered words came back to her like a whisper on the breeze "You are strong, my love, stonger than you will ever know. I am leaving you a gift that will make you invincible you will find it when you need it most" and with that he left her life forever. She tore up their camp looking for it,desperate to find something to cling to in her grief - but found nothing. Kat shook herself out of her memories she couldn't afford to dwell she needed all her strength and concentration for what lay ahead Keep smiling Chris :o) ps last part for now temps in mid 40's (celcius) - double and add 32 for rough conversion - predicted for rest of week and 2 kids home for holidays (hurry up February) I also have a pile of im's and emails to answer - please don't think I am ignoring you

I'm agreeing whole-heartedly with svdl. Fabulous renders and intriquing storyline. I so hope it cools down soon. For your comfort as well as the continuation of this series.
