Admittedly an extremely simple image, but somehow I wound up being pleased with the overall effect... Modeled in Wings3D, rendered in Bryce 5.5. Please take a second to leave a little feedback as it is immensely helpful to have opinions of others... Thanks for viewing!

Very pretty. The colouring is really nice. The modelling of the ring is great.I'd love to see it with some kind of scene built around it.

This is very well done! The ring has nice rounded edges where the outside meets the inside. I've seen some rings boolean modeled with sharp edges. The colors are wonderful. Excellent Work!
