Description

My first post, so please be kind enough to leave comments on what you do or don't like about the image and how I can improve my technique! I modeled the chess pieces in Wings3D and assembled everything and rendered in Bryce 5.5. I painted the board texture and modeled the pieces based on a simple chess set I own. Thanks for viewing and for any feedback!

I'm no chess player, but it looks like you are well on your way as a Brycemaster !!

Very kind words from both of you, thanks! I'm no chess player either... I looked up an actual tournament chess position online in order to arrange the pieces in case anyone with a knack for chess happened across my image ;-) Please continue to let me know what could be done to improve modelling, texturing, lighting, or whatever. Thank you!

Excellent modeling! The pieces are well proportioned and the board suits the set very well!
