Description

After a short walk we're on the other side of the lake. I'm fascinated by the meandering melting water of the glacier forming all those patterns in the muddy plains. Many tiny little particles have been deposited here, year after year, accumulating the muddy plain and causing the water to look this greyish (glacier-milk). Plan for today is to reach our goal, the hut, first, and when we have time we can visit the glacier. Perhaps I'd better ask someone acting as red dot.... :) Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 28 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

For a large woman... I suddenly feel very small. WOW!!! From this POV, that glacier is kinda big huh. Thank you for explaining the coloring of the lake for me. Such a pretty shade of blue. Are those pine trees I'm seeing in the distance? How large are they? Does the path on the left take you right to the edge of the glacier? (So many questions...) Absolutely beautiful Jan-Carel.
