Description

This was modelled in Wings 3D ( apart from the wings, ironically enough, which I did in Carrara ) I thought I'd try it out as it's freeware and it's actually very good, in some ways better than Carrara/Hexagon for organic modelling. Textured and rendered in Carrara 4, Anything Grows for the hair.

Awesome bee! The wing texture and fuzz on the bee's body are beautifully done. Great colors also.

He's a busy bee, on the job and gathering pollen soon to be (bee) honey. And he's got personality - something all your creations have in common. Nice transparencey for the wings, too. Great modeling as always. This one made my afternoon. More please!
