This is VERY promising! I think there is a strange verical cut in the extreme left of the ridge. Other than this I would consider to let the mountains look farther away (but it depends on what YOU want them to look). To do so I would try to tune the textures a bit (less rock's particulars and maybe snow-tops?). Yet to make them look farther also means to make 'em look higher, and to make this convincing You'd need to revork the sky-- I think that some cloud sorrounding the tops could be great and would prevent the risk of having the clouds look like a backdrop once you have BIG-looking mountains. I don't know exactly how to do this, but maybe You'd like to give it a try. Thanks for Your beatiful work!!!!

Thanks a lot for this first, and very usefull comment. When i get time (like. next saturday, or a hour a day at the evening) i will make some more moutains and put them further away, so they look bigger. ill allso add some more hills, to create depth. thanks for the tip. also the clouds i will try to rework. i agree, when i look at it. they look terrible. so thanks for comment. very usefull. ill post a update when i have had the time to render a image. more tips and comments are warm welcome =) ~Markus~

Agree with the mountain "proximity". Elsewhere the ground is to be impaired, I don't need to tell you.A other suggestion could be to change the atmosphere to a hazy early morning postrain atmosphere, with a tangential lighting. But your choice will be the good one. cant wait to see what you'll do

it took a lot shorter time then i expected to edit the image. i got some hours yesterday evening. so i have deleted the old mountains (the look great i think, but they dont look good on a long distance), and added some other mountains. i have recolored the ground, so its not a contrast of the wooden foor, and i have edited the clouds. i will upload it when i get back from work. Thanks for replies. keep em commin.
