Wow, this looks really good! So, you want some suggestions? 1) I would try to add more dark colors to the ground. In the foreground, the trees are green and the ground is green too ... I think there should be some old leaves, earth, ... 2) What about some birds flying over the trees? 3) Change the clouds ... don't know what will look best, so try something. Hope this will help :)

I think the same that "Nightwright", some dark ground... any flock of birds in the distance to give life to the picture. I think this may help

Montains are better. Find something "wet", atmos, haze, lake, anything with water or something else than this bright sun of midday. Waiting for what's going follow ....

You may want to use global illumination to get more realistice lighting and shadows.

I will give you my honest opinion since you are asking for it. I think your work so far is absolutely perfect and time well spent. However the lighting, IMHO, isn't that good. The scene will be so much more dramatic and catching to the eyes if you placed the sun low (just above the tree line) and about 10 or 11 oclock. This way you will have strong shadows and the sun will catch and illuminate the leaves on the tops of the trees. Check out my gallery and see some of the first Vue images I made. Of course this is just my opinion, but lighting can make all the difference in the world. What you have so far I wouldnt change a thing except the light. Excellent, excellent work so far.

yes, i clearly need to work on the light, but i don think i will place the sun over the mountains if not im making a sunrise. the clouds have light from above, and it look very good, so i dont think i want to change the sun if not i will change the clouds. but i agree with you. i will think over a little sunrise. Next on: Finding birds (extreme hard! anyone got any) Adding fog/haze to make more effect Experimenting with a sunrise and lighning thank you for comments all!!!
