Very beautiful Troy. I always wondered, is there a reason there's never any pretty flowers or trees outside of these homes? Is it cause' they were "help" courters? I love the shot. You're around a very historical place-great shots.

What a clean looking house. I sure wouldnt mind residing there. Lots of open space for little Eija to romp around. Perfectly cropped too. Have a wonderful day yourself!!! #:O)

Love the old style of building, and it's a pleasure to see such places that have been well cared for. The setting is gorgeous, as is the photography. Beautiful!

Excellant capture Troy, sorry I skipped the others but this just caught my eye..a movie, don't recall which but a movie with the same style of building and it was such a romantic spot, even tho the movie was like horror, lol! Awesome shot, wonderful feeling of a solitary soldier (the house) doing his duty..Bravo!

Let's see, built in 1854...how many coats of whitewash would that be if you figure a new coat of paint about every other year... Nice job as always Troy in documenting this for us!
