Very beautiful Troy. As usual. Don't any of those places creep you out ever? They would me. Great capture with lots and lots of detail.

Southeastern boy here also. You have officially flung a craving on me to go photograph some of our local cypress swamps and sloughs.

Creepy looking swamp. I can only imagine how freaking cool it would look covered in fog. Please oh please go back there on a misty day for me, lol. Have a great day. #:O)

Seems to me Huckleberry can travel long journeys here through the swamps! Wonderful capture, love the light here! Gorgeous work, Troy! :)

It's amazing how low the angle of light can be even at 2 during the depth of winter. Love the reflective surface you caught, the color and multitude of textures. Extremely well done!

Excellent capture Troy! With mist it would certainly be creepy, but not now, the light is beautiful, I'd like to visit it! Bravo!!!

Beautiful! Love the mix of brown tones and the reflections. I too need to make more visits to my local nature parks, I live in a pretty swampy part of the world. :-)

You capture these really well, I am reminded of a small farm we had (10 acres) and at the lower end was a swamp...swamp cabbage..pretty to look at but OMG the smell, do they have that there? Love this hon (btw I do vote and rank, I just don't say so) I want no one to feel they have to do the same for me...Hugs ya!

Hard to keep up with your output/uploads...but I'm trying...Another fine swamp observation... Reminds me of the fact that we have few swamps/wetlands left in this part of Oregon and the ones that remain you would not want to dip a toe in, let alone fish in!
