Description

This rather large tour bus is the little dot from the previous upload. Let me quote from one of the information signs at the base of the glacier. "Sprawling across the Great Divide, the Columbia Icefield covers 325 square kilometers, an area greater than the city of Vancouver, and it is over thirty stories at its deepest point." This icefield feeds as many as 34 outlet glaciers, with the Athabasca being one of the biggest. I have a few more good shots I'll post in coming days. Thanks for looking and any comments.
