Description

I am sharing with you some remnants of a week at the lake in a cabin for 8...alone. There was rain each day and a full blown storm after three days. Even so, I did capture a few bits and pieces. The interesting root system of the Bald Cypress is evident in these shots. The lake was in a drawdown stage, that was to last until January, 2001. There was no entry to the lake by boat, no fishing. The mud flats were very wide. The next shot shows the chanel and the mud flats. The time was late evening.

This photo has a nice balance of green and brown. The overcast sky lacks detail yet gives ambience to the backlighting of the trees.

The trees seem almost human, as if they were all dressed up in long gowns and about to go dancing. Another very magical moment captured for eternity.
