Description

The weather did not make for a happy camper last September. I rented a cabin for a week and there was rain every day..I would run out a snap a few shots each time a peep of sun appeared. These pictures show the full glory of the Bald Cypress. They are now showing their color. We are used to the mystery and color of them in the area lakes...but one still gasps each fall. Thank you for visiting with me, please come again.

Nice composition. I like how the reflection is slightly marred, giving statement to the image.

This tree is very straight and erect. You have lined up the reflection with the line of sight to give it even more straightness. The tree shows its nobility in this image rooted in the soft mud.
