Time for an update. Still creating fractal and loving it. It helps keep me sane. Apophysis is still the program of choice for creating fractal art. There are many amazing programs to choose from.Â
So much art, so little time.Â
We have lost fractal artists to the grim reaper. People who will live on through their art. People we miss and always will. People who made a difference, a better one, in our lives and people that we were blessed to have known.Â
Have lost a few people to life, and that hurts too. It is strange how distance doesn't stop love, nor circumstance, nor time.Â

Your words move to a long silence before being able to say anything. I know how it is to have no father. Mine was the Great Absent too. And the most important questions rarely get any answers. It is one of the worst cruelties of life. I don't know when you will read this comment, but my feelings go with you. I do hope you will find some peace.

Beautiful Leann!! It looks like a huge fractal rising from the sea. Wonderful effect, colors, textures. I don't know HOW you can come up with such amazing pieces. Another superb one, Leann!

In 1997, the phone rang. It was my mother to inform me that "my Dad had died while eating supper at my brother Dale's home. Dale, a firefighter, did CPR until the EMT's arrived, to no avail." With those words, dead also were any hopes of a recconcilliation with a mn who'd fought accross Europe, in Korea, and had spoken to me "man-to-man" one time, in 1989; and then, ONLY because HIS DAD, my Grandpa Z, asked him to, durring a visit at the "Old Soldiers Home" where as a WW1 vet, Grandpa retired to. That brief talk was only one in my whole life to thyat point & since-maybe 20 min. It took me a long time get over the anguish, etc. I have 6 brother's & sisters I've never seen as adults. I guess I share this by way of saying, we can let go, move on. Which is a prerequisit for living healthier emotionally.Blessed are those who've the courage & strength to do that~SAZ~.

Stay strong, Lea...the wisdom and strength you seek and need during troublesome and painful times, lies within you..as it does in all of us. You have all the necessary tools to find the courage and fortitude to withstand any of the onslaughts that life throws our way. No one leaves this physical existence without experiencing heartache, anquish, disappointments, and considerable loss..it is part of the human condition. Time does help..and time does heal..but the painful memories never go away..how you decide to resolve them for your own well-being will be the test. Take care, know that you have lots of folks here that care about you and wish you nothing but happiness and the very best of life..
