Beautiful photo of this building. Is it made of chocolate?
DELMUR
Maybe because swiss are cold!!!!But ,who can try a such dildo ???Beautifull image!Norman foster did the 'MILLAU viaduc' too, no problem of dildo :OOOUUUFFF!

Oh how interesting!!! Lovely!

Nice image, I've heard a lot more people use Syrup's name then the 'The Gherkin' :)

The swiss dildo huh? LOL! I guess thats one way of looking at it. It looks more like a spaceship to me. Not as weird architecture than here though...heres theres one building thats shaped as a mushroom and a skyscraper that is twisted....oh well. Beautiful B&W with great tonal range. #:O)

Actually I'd think more of the top of an Ariane-rocket but ok, imagination is personal! :) Gorgeous work, Charles, something to be proud of!

Thank you for the education. The so called 'dildo' building, looks more like a Christmas ornament to me. Oh well . . . Thank you for sharing and have a great week. Egmnont

Now I'm the one embarassed. Not meant to be disrespectful of Mr.Foster's flair for cutting edge design.Maybe it's to make up for my own inadequicies.grins Yet another great image CD Brugg! As a resident of Toronto Canada there are few "old" buildings left. One drawback with new architecture is they're designed to look great all shiney and clean, buuut later? well....For those who are interested there is an issue of 3D World that highlights the "Swiss Re building" as a 3d model composited into Londons' skyline in order to win approval of the city planners.I was very skeptical that it was going to be accepted despite very convincing images. But obviously it worked! :B eaver !

Yes I think Syrup's name seems more fitting than Gherkin ... just can't see the resemblance myself, lol. Excellent!
