Escher Cheese by TwoPynts

A macro with very little postwork. What intrigues me is the flip-flop in perspective that happens when I stare at it long enough. ;] I hope everyone had a great first weekend of 2006 and that you all have a terrific second week! ----- Thank you for your bubbly comments on my last upload, Deep Ice VIII.

"Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible. I think it's in my basement...let me go upstairs and check." -- M. C. Escher Obviously, Mr. Escher is looking for his cheese. You've got it, Kort!

I love Escher work! It could be a kind of Escher but I think he is more "over the top". Great photo!

Ha ha, like maps of the moon, making you ask, what is high and what is deep!? Gorgeous work, Kort! :)

you remind me of a conversation I had many years ago with one of those blokes with multiple degrees/PhD's in pure maths who explained to me that there was no logical reason why the inside of a box should be smaller than the outside. I doubt I would have understood him even if we had been sober -lol - apart from that, I feel like buying a macro lens (not even for insects or butterflies)
