Description

I'm shameless. That, or I love art too much not to try and make any, while at the same time acknowledging that I have very little talent for starting from scratch. =D Agh... I wish I could tell you the actress' name, but all I have are the initials: MM. Maria something-Hispanic. The photo was tweaked, then merged in PhotoDeluxe with a shot of a nebula (?) to create this image of my former character, Aphra, another tragic figure whose life also ended in suicide. I was a morbid newbie. =D Simple as it is, I wanted to post this image for its sheer prettiness of color, and the possible interpretations that could go with it. My own view: Aphra was a Fire Elementalist who wielded her power with a very, very uncertain grip. Here, wild and uncontrollable, her magic tears at a fragile mind.

Although I'm unfamiliar with the lady, it no less detracts from the subtle beauty of the render. The colors are truly surrealistic and add to the horrible fact of an all too early demise. Nicely done Nimue.

Mendieros! Finally remembered her last name! (Could be a variant of the spelling, but still.) Thankee, Racin. =)
