I've read all Andreas.... I sincerly, I understand and I agree with you. To see a maximum of upload each day, to comment the shots, to answer to the IM and message, it's very long and take a lot of time for each of us. I've never write a comment waiting anything. Just do it for the pleasure. And if I haven't the time to comment or to see a shot of someone I know or others from photographers I don't know, I think it's not so important. We have our life and it's not an obligation ! The "real" life, the one we share with our family, our friends, is almost more important to stay for 4 hours in front of a screen on Renderosity ! And you know how this community is important for me too !!!! and real friendship are born here, and nothing change if you stay for some days or weeks without posting or writing comments. I'll always be there, and look at your photographies with the same pleasure Andreas. I hope than one day we could meet us in the "real" life, as I've made with Zulaan, Cygne, Magali and Christophe this week-end ! Then keep cool, be happy, and don't worry !!!! Your real friends will always be there for you whatever you do ! OK ? and about this photography... it's another magic shot, and a great drop ! golden one as the whisky ;o)))))) A very big hug my friend, and have a wonderful week. Mouaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!!!!!!

First of all, this is almost, but not quite, as exciting as the first one, because of the overall crop and color. The difference is VERY small. Both EXTREMELY effective especially considering how you shot them. They both stopped me cold in my tracks and I had to just sit there and stare in admiration! As to comments; your photos draw comments because of their beauty and the "WOW" factor. Your comments on other's works are almost always something to look forward to because of your keen observations and vivid vocabulary. I for one will greatly miss them.

Really, really cool picture. What shutterspeed are you using....and what other settings? Postwork? Light? There is no need to comment a whole book every time...a simple "best work i ever seen" will do lol Again....superb foto!!!!

I agree with you, and I know exactly what you mean. I also have not always the time to spend that much time on RR. Because my bad arm also, typing is not that good for me. Some people expect to much, I recognize a lot in your words. I always liked your work, you are very talented. I also thought, maybe its better that I don't allowing comments after I came back. I had my doubts. I did in the beginning, but then people IM me also that I forgot it. And this is a huge community, and that will brings often jealousy. Or that people want to know from others whats going own between others. And so bad things will be spread. I am happy that you would still post your images, with or without allow comments I would like them all. Ilona

I for one can understand your frustration...commenting on each and every fav or just going through the gallery can be very taxing. I for one don't live for comments, I'm just happy to have a great site to post my stuff. Feed back is nice to have, but not the end all for me. I'm very selective on what image/artist to add to my Favs because I see consistency in their work and I enjoy commenting in that aspect. To have to answer 60 ebots, and asst. IM's, and emails could drive your right over the edge. I think people sending you emails to make you have to look at their work is a little pushy....comments are not mandatory on this site. Jalousie and bitterness have no place this site...your work speaks for itself. I'm going to hate not commenting on your work as it has always been a pleasure to give ya my 2 pennies worth, but if this is what is required, I will respect your wishes. I'm really sorry it's come down to this, but hey...think of all the free time your going to have now!! Now on too your image...As with all your work I know that you put only your best up as with this one...I couldn't imagine how many shots you would have to take to get this beauty but well worth your efforts....You know if I wasn't a MAS4eva member I would beat you soundly....but the Rules and Regs prevent me from doing so. Keep pumping out your beauty's I for one am inspired and always will be by your images...Much Aloha to you Buddy!

There is always discussion about commenting, Hot 20, etc. One must realize that people post art here to get comments - without them, what would be the point? Andreas, I value you as a friend, and as a photographer I admire. I enjoy your comments on my work and on the posts of others. So, please don't give up something you obviously enjoy. To do so is missing the point of RR - sharing. Just share as you have time.

I just want to clarify myself to people that might read this later. Im not leaving RR. I wont stop uploading, and i wont stop commenting. I just cant deal with the stress of expectations anymore. I will comment as much as possible without neglecting other responsibilities of mine. Do i make sense?

beautiful work andreas. !! this is amazing. I understand what your saying and can relate to it. one time i was locked out of my car and had no way to get home and was stuck there most the night . then when i got home my computer was down ,i had someone say i was avoiding commenting when in truth i just had no way of getting on a computer. I have three kids and a needy cocket spaniel and trying to redo a home right now and wondering why it is that i am stressed about not getting to comments when my Home is turned upside down and a mess!! then i try to do a few comments and it takes about 1-3 minutes to just get on the page for each comment. i timed it it took 8 hours to do my picture and the comments and my kids are wondering what happened to thier MOmmy. So i understand on all levels and have no expectations. it is nice to get comments. BUt you have done it too when i first got on here i remember you saying to me why havnt you commented on my work so it works both ways . I love you and your peronality and your talented work and amazed by your beauty . so come and go as you like and be FREE and happy and spend time with your beautiful wife and enjoy the wonders of being alive. i care and hate to think of you stressed and now i am writing a book. my biggest hugs and love to you. thank you for all that youdo its more then most. your a big heart and i appreciated you even if you never commented on my work again . thanks for being you Andreas you are wonderful and so is todays upload!!

You make perfect sense Andreas - A re balancing of perspective, and given the situation you have described I support you 110%. I think it is a shame if you do not allow comments on your own postings though. You have explained the position in which you find yourself and I hope that everyone will understand.

Hay Zacko, I feel for you. They do a small operation to have your conscience removed, I had it and never felt better. No IMs, No email, No worries. Family is the most important thing in life. With RR you can chose your family. Your friends will understand and people like me will have there own point. Blessed Be.

I understand you perfectly Andreas, I comment only when I have the time and never at the expense of my private life. I enjoy taking photos and posting them, I also enjoy viewing photos as well as leaving the comments. But I dont expect them myself even thou its nice to see them. My number one priority is my home life, RR is just a hobby. I enjoy viewing your work and leaving a comment. This image here is no exception to the rule, your a master at your work. Don't stop what you enjoy,RR is your hobby not your life and when you have time visit...

Wow, look at all the Stridesberging going on here. And such a nice warm nipple on top of it all. I know how you feel, and hope that you do continue to comment when and where you feel like it, not because you are pressured to do so. I say just disregard anyone that asks like that. It shows insecurity and is juvenile. I don't do it to others and I never get that kind of request. That said, I DO LOVE COMMENTS on my work. Feedback! And I know that a certain ammount of it is because I comment too. But I hope that it is done because people want to and not because they feel they need to. Do what you will, but I'll miss being able to comment on your wonderful images though. MAS4EVA!

I love the overall color in this shot, and it doesn't get anymore crisp and clear than that either. Regarding the other issue (stress), anything that makes your life better and easier, well - you got my full endorsement and support on that. All my best to you Andreas, in all of your endeavors ...always!

RR schouldn't be an obligation... and commenting has to be a pleasure! I don't really care about how much comments i get, because i know, some just comment because they got a comment from me, or are friends or are feeling obliged... And they are of course people not commenting my job because it is mine... I tried being normal and commenting also on people that hate me... but they take it very badly... so i stopped! I don't need this stress! I like to have comments, who doesn't?! But fair critic is and stays the best way to improve! Have a great day... HugeHugs

Well, for everyone upload I comment on about 200, I enjoy looking at so many images that I don't have the time to spend on my images, I will soon. I also have been working a lot of overtime but looking at image to me is more fun than doing my own. I also want to learn poser and that will end even my commenting, I will be back once the process has started. I have also bought tools etc. for Bryce and want to start rendering again. So KEEP posting, I make my comments short to the point of what I see, maybe you should do the same. beautiful image for today:):):)...V

WOW!!! Another awesome drop!! Love the lighting and colors in this one! Did you color it or was it red to start with...(wondering what kind of liquid this is) :-) Love it Andreas! As for the commenting, it is so easy to stress out over it. I have been guilty of that myself but so many people have told me not to worry and just comment when I can so that is what I do and it seems to work ok although I do get a lot less comments on my own...hehe I don't mind though. It's still fun and I still love it here...and you will too. So no guilt! Live your life and comment when you can/want my friend. ((((Big Hugggs)))) and a bathtub full of m&m 's for you. :-))) ++++++++++++++++

As long as you keep posting. I rely on comments a little. I rely on the forums for insights and assistance. I enjoy the social aspects, but it can get quickly overwhelming, as you say. When i comment, it's generally because i feel i have something to share constructively. You have a marvelous eye and a creative heart. Don't be afraid to share it with those who might benefit.
