Description

This image does not use any bitmap heightfield, or any DEM. It is entirely procedural. I'm are currently working on erosion fractal, i.e. fractal that takes your landscape, and makes eroded landscape from it. It is at relatively early stage of development, but is already capable of making very realistic procedural terrains. Rendered using mojoworld, volumetrics, and landscape uses indevelopment erosion fractal plugin. Minor postwork in Gimp (levels, contrast)

Looks good. Some of the terrains you see in Terragen renders, using World Machine, have fantastic erosion effects. Something to achieve similar results in Mojoworld would be great.

Very impressive, Dmytry! I, personally, never did figure out how to do this procedurally. Great work!

Coming my A--! First it was supposed to show up in Houdini, now it's apparently on a road to nowhere because no one seems to give a S--- apparently. This reminds me of those University software developer hoarders who come up with brilliant software only to be forever locked away for ever on there servers for the public never to see.
