Hi eveerybody ... I'm back, hoho ... :-) This is the actualy stand of my entry at the C4Dnetwork-fictive-character-contest (yes, it's allowed to post it here:-) Eveerybody who wants to join, there are still 26 days left (http://www.c4dboard.com/index.php?showforum=74) ... but it's all in german, ahm, but if you ask there will be someone to explain you the very simple rules (only C4D, postwork allowed, a non-existing character, 10 wip's must be postet) How ever ... this is my char, now I gonna make an interesting environment and some nice lights

That is amazing!! It's the sort of thing you'd expect to see in a movie- it must have taken you a hell of a lot of work- and the texturing is superb. I certainly wouldn't want to run into it- even if backed up by a squad of SA-80 toting marines.... Certainly looks like a competition winner to me. :-)

Great Work. I really like the way the color washes out towards the back. It really makes the Beasty stand out. You have really got to want an egg bad to try and take one from that.

Absolutely what it's all about, you need to be making monsters for film. It is in desperate need of things like this!!! I love Geiger, but everyone tries to emulate it. I mean this is just strange, truly alien, all those little mouths and the twisted, thin sinews and loose, unusual joint connections... Just spectacular.

Hey, thanks a lot :-) I didn't expect so much enthusiasm at this point ... I've still got 27 days and wanted to try out some more with that bug :-) I'm just at the beginning. This image is a test, not the final :-) I gonna change the tail and maybe the second pair of arms, the horn-parts need another texture and maybe I take the 5-snapper-head nearer to the camera and make another camera-angle and another environment ...
