Description

I found this while looking through a sketchbook where I kept miscellaneous notes, including ideas for props for a game and novel I was working on. The DataPad was a portable computer with two liquid crystal displays. The upper screen was the main display. The lower screen was pressure-sensitive and could be reconfigured to serve as any number of keyboards or control surfaces. And for easier use, a NotePad version had the same two screens but in a smaller, pocket-friendly size. The sketchbook is from 1989.
