You can really see the sun being at it's top around that hour, by the light falling on the tree over the water. Must have been a difficult light situation to get the balance right, but you did better than most profs I know. :) I love swampy areas, the trees in the water, it's feels so mysterious. Excellent capture! Have a great day, Sabra

Looks like boat country ~ agree, be interesting to see the same scene come spring. Nicely done here. One thing i've noticed about the d50 it tends to overexpose and blowout the highlights on auto, like that large branch there ~ but it is still a sweet camera [love mine].

Sometimes when reaching, one falls, grows sideways and is nurtured nonetheless!

Wonderful capture of the streaming water in this swamp and the reflections on it! Gorgeous capture, it is as if the trees are eager to put their branches in this water! Excellent work, Troy!

even in decay the tree still has graceful lines. I bet it alive during summer with mosquitos and every other kind of bug

Terrific! The imagination trapped by the uniqueness of a moment, and the camera reaps vivid into the memory! Time will make these pictures ever more important for you.
