Description

This small pond really has no name, but the water was so black and I had to name it something meaningful to others, as something like H33SoLggtsNc05 just wasn't going to cut it. Anyway it was captured on Friday, January 20, 2006, near Leggetts, North Carolina. It was captured using my Nikon D50 outfit, at around 1:38pm. Thanks for looking, have a wonderful Sunday! BTW, my sincerest thanks to those of you who support my work through your comments/rankings, they truly are invaluable in my becoming a better photographer/artist, and I appreciate it immeasurably.

Those colors are fantastic! What is the red? I agree about the title hence the color of the water. That is definitely some very black water! Killer capture Troy!

my first impression was that the red berries were cranberries, then I read you took the shot in North Carolina, which is not known for growing cranberries! (lol) The color is very saturated, but eyecatching without being too intense.
