Just before the blanket of stars descends upon our faces, like an eyelid closing on the great all-seeing Sun; There is a festival of color, of light and shadow, celebrating creation; An obeisance, at the close of day.

for some reason, i imagine Thailand to be covered in lots of jungle....just goes to show, one shouldnt rely on preconceived ideas. :)

Yes, it very much is overwhelming sometimes. I had the same type of feeling a couple of days ago in the most beautiful night time snowfall. That sky is absolutely awesome.
