Description
Choices, choices, ultimatums
you wish to God, you'd never made 'em.
This life we live, can bring regret.
for things we've done, or haven't yet.
Moments pass and won't return.
There's here, and now, no time to burn.
Do we want to spend our days,
unmindful, in a foggy haze,
Unaware of the breakneck speed
of passing time, and growing need,
To make the choice you can't regret,
to Live the Life you haven't yet?

Brilliant rhythm! I've just had to make a really hard choice and you said it so perfectly!

A great poem and so true! Once I learned something about the Garden of Eden. It was from a Rabbi. And he said; that we need to first eat from the Tree of life, which it's fruit is satisfying and fulfilling and good for the soul.. then when we go to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, we will see that fruit for what it really is! (rotten to the core) and by seeing that, we do not succumb to it. But not having first gone to the Tree of Life, we will always think we are full and satisfied, but because the true nature of that fruit is rotted, we keep going for more hoping it will bring us life, comfort,Happiness etc.. but it is infact unable to give nourishment. So we eventually dye (spiritually)... Unless we eat from the Tree of Life. :)
