Description

A shot of part of a military shipyard near the Moon, with a view of Earth in the distance. On the right is a freighter slowly moving into one of the drydocks. On the left foreground is a fighter flying a patrol route around this area of the shipyard, and in the background is a transport in the middle of exiting its jump into the area. Moon made in Terragen v0.9 with 4097 terrain. That probably took the longest to do. Finding the right place to set up the camera and arranging the terrain the way I wanted took a couple of hours, followed by a good 2-hour render. Ships and dock made in Wings3D, rendered in Bryce 5.5. Sun, stars, Earth, jump portal, and ship postwork done in Photoshop CS. Please give any comments that you have, as I'm constantly trying to improve. Thanks, and enjoy!

Cool scifi work! try adding more surface layers (diff shades of gray, rocks under the sand)

Excellent done! IMHO can be better without the little purple spaceship and its light because there are too many objects and lights on the sky! :)

Perhaps too much flying objects (or too big...) ;o) but the terrain details are impressive.
