Description

Taken from a pass a little ways south of Sierra Blanca outside of Ruidoso, NM. The lighting wasn't what I had hoped, and there's no snow on top this year, but I think it still turned out okay. The slide is WAY sharper, but my scanner won't keep the lines any better than this. Would love to hear comments. Fuji Velvia 50, polarizing filter

It's a very beautiful capture but if you don't resize like I'm used to do (down to a thousand pixels horizontally, my scans at 3200 DPI result a nice 4400 by 2800 px, no fun to have that on screen) the composition of the picture gets completely lost. And that's a pity since it worth so much to be seen entirely! :)
