Description

The world up here becomes more and more rocky. The timberline has been passed yet and I have to cross tracks on bare rocks, sometimes with the aid of steel-wire on little inclinations, but incomparably easier than in Fieschertal. The textures of the rock fascinate me. The red colors are probably caused by iron (ore) in the rocks. On the ridge - looking down on me - blooms alpine willowherb (Epilobium fleischeri) which you have seen before. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Great juxtaposition here. I love to see the colorful life among all the rocks.
