Description

The earlier post was a scan from a photo. I finally found the original negative of the painting and scanned it in. There's a lot more detail here on the show-off. Got a chance to patch up the flaky background too. Hey, how come Fairies get their own category but not Mermaids????

nasty vile creatures. when i was a youngster, i was brutally attacked and molested by a creature just like this. i am forever traumatized. still, your renderings of the creatures of my nightmares are so realistic, i have to say, A+ dude! nice work

Yeah, let's put in a vote for a mermaids category, cause I sure like them a lot better then those human bugs! (sorry, not a fairy kind of gal :) As always, super work, I'm totally in love with your style. My compliments!

Very nice! I think the faeries only got their own section because there's currently a boom in art featuring them thanks to Amy Brown. Still, I would have thought dragons would have gotten their own category first since they've been the icon of fantasy art for so long. I figure they have the fantasy category and that should be enough without splintering it down unless they want to start a sub-category structure in the galleries.
