Description

I know that Yall must be getting tired of seeing my hand or fingers in shots but sometimes its the only way to get a shot of the bug or frog in the light that you want. Anyway this is a leafhopper, that is known as a sharpshooter (looked it up on the web) and I tried all summer to get a shot of one but they are usually VERY shy. This guy wasn't and look he even smiled for the camera :-) This isn't the best shot I got but it does show his smile...actually kind of cute I think. I bought a polarizing filter for my camera last night, so I am headed outside to see what I can find to pose for me! Thank you for your much appreciated comments and have a wonderful weekend! I actually enjoy seeing your hand or finger in the images. It's a good reference to the size of the subject you're shooting. This sharpshooter for instance must be pretty small. You amaze me with your ability of getting all these things to hold still long enough for you to get the shot. Fantastic, Wendy. Got my VOTE!! for sure.

That lil' guy is quite a good poser, and you're right - he is smiling! Great capture Wendy! By the way - I don't mind your finger(s) in a shot at all!
