Description

Here's another image from my B&W class, but I chose this for the sepia toning assignment. This gramophone is a Columbia Grafonola from the early 1920's, at least that's what I could gather online. This instrument sits in my livingroom and is quite a conversation piece. The record that is on the turntable is "How to Tune your Ukelele" and gets rather annoying so I'll need to find another album! Thanks for visiting and any comments. Jodie :0)

You've successfully captured the spirit of the Jazz Age. In this photo the record almost seems to be spinning; I want to reach over and set that needle down on it! Awesome composition. BIG VOTE

congratulation Jodie for getting this pic into "Gallery of the Week"... :) viewing this image I had the idea to let this gramophone PLAY... the blurred circles of the record could have been funny....or maybe not....LOL...however, a great and warming pic in such a freezing time... ;)
