Description
This is a detail of a self portrait from an ongoing series of drawings. The drawing in its entirety is 3 ft by 4 ft. This is just a detail from the overall image which is damned near impossible to shoot properly because of the detail versus the size. This is a digi photo slightly cleaned up in PS. The overall piece took around 100 hours to complete.

looks quite interesting... but i guess it's necessary to see the whole piece to really get an impression... but i like your way of "texturing"... :)

WOW!!! I am impressed! Been a while since I've been perusing these hallowed halls. Guess I picked the right day. I was actually lured here by another one of your pieces and decided to see what else you had in your gallery. It seems we have a mutual interest in Dante' and mythology. I don't know how much of the overall art this image represents, but if the detail is any indication of the entire 3x4 image, I can understand the amount of time it took to complete this. I would really like to see a shot of it in its entirety. This truly is stunning! I'll be watching...
