well I just used my sketch to trace the paths in photoshop where I painted it.

I certainly see a diversity here. This is a softer and colorful you. Nice use of shadows to lend texture to the face and fabric. I especially like how the pin shape that holds the cape fits so nicely into the cut-out in her uniform. Nice touch. Even though this is completely different in style texturally and it goes in a different direction, it has a certain appeal. Like an updated golden-age comic. Bravo!
