Description

My brother asked me to get a robot as a Xmas gift for him - so I went to the hardware store and bought some stuff. I just seem to have forgotten the instructions somewhere......Well, still got 13 days to get this one up and going........ -no radiosity used-

the omni lights are working well man - I use them often instead of radiosity (Just takes waaaaay too long to render).. ok well you have the diffuse bounced/ambient light from the omni light rig but now you need a key light to 'direct' the scene (It'll also knock out some of those unwanted shadows) -- oo also on the omni lights you might want to knock down the opacity of the shadows - after all that sort of lighting is only used to capture the subtle global illumination of the scene :) good luck -darkness

I highly recommend Boris Cargo's '50GreY' plugin. It superb for creating fake GI rigs, and the shadows it produces look real nice. http://boriscargo.free.fr/C4D/plug.html
