Description
This past summer while I was hiking around, I kept hearing these little barking sounds. I looked around, but there wasn't any dogs or any thing that would make a sound like that. Well, i accidently bumped into these pinkish/red flowers and it yelped. I jumped back and to my amazement I saw this flower(I think) barking at me in this high pitched little voice. So I quieted it down and took this picture. It really is amazing what strange creatures are out there...

I love these rare but beautiful flowers. I have one at my house in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The fragrance isn't really good right now and I will be glad to get an afternoon shower to freshen it up a bit. (time for the groomers). I love the picture. LOL - G
