Description

I was out taking pictures this past spring in Florida of fishermen, fish, the pelicans and seagulls that are abundant on the pier, when all of a sudden I hear this BAAAA BAAA sound getting closer and closer very quickly. I turned and looked up and saw what I thought was a pelican coming right for me. So I grabbed my camera and snapped a shot. The creature landed on the railing just in front of me. To my amazement, it wasn't a pelican it was a Bellican. That's what the local fishermen call him. They say he likes to chew on old soda cans that people leave laying around on the pier. I hope you enjoy this one and only shot I managed to get before he took off again. I want to thank all who leave such wonderful and creatively funny comments about my fancifull creations. I get great pleasure from reading them. I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with comments lately. I've been rather busy and just can't squeeze the time to cover everyone. I hope this weekend I can sort of catch up. I feel really bad when I miss commenting on pics of the many friends I have come to know and love here at RR. You people are the best..Thank you =)

Well, ya know, they do have these in California. Yep. Just go to Marin county, past Mill Valley to Billycon beach. All you Californians must know that place. Near the English pub. LMAO. Hmmmm. Maybe I had too many Brewskies at the pub before going to the beach. Well, what I saw sure looked like this. He he.
