Takes The Place of Love's Embrace
Lonely in a rayless room.
Isolation concealed by mystic dim.
Artic all around, warmth slowly rising.
Seduced to repose, as an escape.
Enclose the pillow tight.
The Lie.
Something here must pull me out.
A vision lies in wait.
Succumbing to dark, where is color.
A hand to hold,
A love so near,
The beauty surreal,
Love unspoken.
Touring solace,
Numerous have dwelled.
Uncover a way,
To remain in tranquillity
If so inclined the consequences are great.
But the conclusion is dear.
To leave at once essential.
Unless contrived to remain.
Stay, as a choice,
Abandon departure.
Warmth felt outside,
In leaving solitude is not mine.
In company desire is found to-
Open eyes.
Still, desolate room.
Pillar to continuance.
The Lie.
Still clutched near.
Fooled yet again.
To stir away from delusion.
To rejoin as lonely.
Bittersweet it is,
When the lie is caught.
The end of life,
beginning of love.
