Description
G'day. This will be a short series on Views of Melbourne. This picture was taken from the Rialto Tower in Collins Street which has a 360 degree views on the top floor observatory. This is a picture looking east to Mt Dandenong. Many of my pictires are taken from around Mt Dandenong. I live approx 3km from that mountain base. This view includes: Flinders Street Station (in yellow) bottom left, the Yarra River and Princes Bridge, The large sports dome circular with cranes) in the top centre is the M.C.G. which is our main football and cricket stadium, the smaller sports domes to the centre right is the Rod Laver Tennis Arena (where Rodger federer Beat Marcos Bagdadtis last week),and the other sports dome is for cycling, these facilities will be used for the forthcoming Commonwealth Games in March.
Enjoy
Lou
