Description

Back home with the camera out of order I ask myself how to solve the problem. Repair will be difficult, it demands too much time and it might turn out quite expensive. Fortunately we have a storage space that can be used to block all light. So I close the doors there (and even the keyholes), I open my camera and manually transport the film to the next exposure. I hear a click, the release-sound which tells me I succeeded to preprare the camera for the next shot. I leave the room, and shoot this picture, a sunset with fascinating colors. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 100 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Such an ordeal just to get the camera ready for the next shot. But looking at this, id say it was worth the hazzle. Beautifully colored sunset indeed. And the dark clouds look perfect. Have a lovely weekend. #:O)

The most unreliable designs of all time were electromechanical. Mechanical was second. Pyrotechnic was certain excluding a manageable tiny dud rate. Electronic follow Weibel distributions with early and late failures. There is great earnesty to something produced after a failure where no repair was possible and it is just a grunt.
