Description

Ultrafractal 4.02 Caught a little grief for my last one so I figured I'd upload something more fractal... This is one a guy at work wants a 4ft long canvas of. Hope he's serious... It uses the General Tent Julia formula in lkm.ufm along with Thingamajigs II (tma2.ucl) and the Popcorn Plasma and fbm Popcorn Traps colorings in Mark Townsend's mt.ucl folder. Wow, between his coloring algorithms and formulas - not to mention Apophysis! - it's amazing how much we all are indebted to this guy along with some others for enabling our obsessions! :-?) Thanks for stopping by! Rick ***(Fine art giclee' prints of most of my work are available in limited edition on archival paper or canvas - e-mail: drahcir3@hotmail.com and get busy filling that empty spot on the wall! Unique, "one-of-a-kind" (edition size = 1) prints are also available*** :-)

I like it, not especially for being "more fractal" looking... But because it has an emotial meaning/message. I only don' t like the overall "rastered" look, although public opininon seems to have little trouble with it;-))))

Yes! It has an emotional punch, and the elements of the perfect storm. Violently beautiful, and I personally love the texturing. It is almost as though it is being viewed through sheer netting. Really nice work. Constant source of viewing pleasure!

Amazing, it actually makes me feel cold and it's the middle of summer here. I love the gnarled, tattered look of it. Everytime I look at it I see to find something else to like. They really need a special ranking for you - breathtaking would be appropriate.

Very impressive: superlative structure design..subtle and dynamic colorwork: ..the lilac @center is the edge of luminous resonance.. Your layering continues to astonish!!

Yes!! There is so much going on in front and in the back of the spiral that the central composition is realy working. A rare thing to do! 4ft long, eh... I realy would like to see that on a wall.
