Nice lighting!! It does look like it is made of gold or bronze! Funny, I am listening to a radio show (Hitchhikers Guide) on my iPod! Originally broadcast on the good old radio!

That title is appropriate! I suppose this was no longer one of the cathedral style radios by '46... I am a bit surprised, though, at the font style Emerson used; I wonder whether that dial was manufactured before the War. I would have guessed that radio was 20 years older than it is. Excellent work, Kort (as usual)!

Wonderful this detail of this old radio. This one is a jewel, with incredible golden colors ! I think to you saturday... The wife of my brother has show me an old radio very psychedelic with an orange color incredible. I've made some shots for you, but I must select some good ones.... maybe tomorrow I send you something ;o)))) Have a good day Kort. Hugs. V

Wow, I haven't seen one of these in 25 years or better. I used to have one, but I couldn't find the specified parts I needed to get the darn thing working. I already had a nice, big paperweight, so it was gifted to a friend that thought he could get it going again. Great capture Kort!
