Rendered using Dmytry Lavrov's Volumetric Renderer 0.9 Beta Release.
Original planet is 'Casal Palocco' by Lewis Moorcroft
Added Volumetric atmosphere with two custom cloud layers - also added the function graph that allows MW terrains etc, to receive shadows cast by the volumetrics.
People added in post using Painter
Other slight post in Photoshop CS for sharpening and selective diffuse glow.

Great Image Angela. The scale of the characters fits well with the overall image. I query it looks like the clouds are intersected (join directly to) the mountain/outcrop or is it a visual misunderstanding? Nice first attempt at Volumetrics, look forward to more :)
